Maperton Church depends on donations, legacies and succesful fund-raising events to maintain the fabric of the building and to enable it to meet the cost of running a living church with regular services in a scattered parish
We continue to search for sponsors and musical talents who are willing to help us with the programming of our events, as well as providing organ music for scheduled services. With the proceeds of these and individual donations, we collect funds to enable us to undertake future projects. We have recently completed the whole-scale refurbishment of the interior of the church, re-roofing overall and restoration and conservation of the stained-glass: our immediate priority is now to put in hand high-level repairs to the stonework and parapets of the tower.
We appeal to generous donors without whom we will be unable to safeguard the fabric and vitality of this church for future generations.
Please contact us via the Contact Form or send a donation, made payable to "Maperton PCC", to Maperton PCC, c/o The Camelot Parishes Office, 6 The Close, North Cadbury, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 7DX.
"Planned Giving" under the Gift Aid Scheme allows us to recover tax on donations made by Income Tax payers: for every £1 donated, we can recover another 25 pence.
Planned Giving is a huge help to the church's finances: if you would like to assist us in this way, EITHER proceed via the JustGiving button or please download and complete the Gift Aid form and send it to The Camelot Parishes Office whose address appears on that form.
Donations made by qualifying taxpayers under the JustGiving scheme are eligible for Gift Aid relief, and go directly to Maperton Church's bank.
We are a non-profit organisation and welcome any kind of support. If you would like to support us, please check out the Support Us page for more information.
